it happens every year during the winter season…
i am referring to the struggle between what is cute, and what is warm.
as i reflect on this past winter season, i think i found the perfect piece for many winters to come.
The Reclaimed Wool Parka
the first thing i love most about this Patagonia coat is the fact that it’s really warm.
the second thing i love about it is the cinch around the waist.
it accentuates the smallest part of my torso, which gives me the best of both worlds.
flattering | warm
the third thing i love about it is the high collar. it adds style and warmth on a windy winter day.
because this coat has so many neutral colors, it coordinates perfectly with any pant.
from jeans to leggings – it always works.
it also coordinates well with most any boot imaginable…black or brown.
with the dark gray, light gray, and canvas, it makes this cozy piece extremely versatile.
this time, i went with a black pant from H&M and my brown mules from Target.
now is the perfect time to stock up on winter coats for next year because they are ON SALE!
i love a good deal when i find one…and this coat is currently discounted.
when you choose to buy a winter coat, and you don’t want to sacrifice fashionable for warmth, be sure to buy a piece that accentuates the waist, but is large enough to layer.
i made sure to get this coat in a larger size, so i can layer when i need to.
unfortunately, sometimes we have to be practical.
(like when it snows)
